In 1997 after nearly 25 years as an actor, which included Evita and Sweet Charity on Broadway and being the thirty-fifth Narrator in The Fantasticks Off Broadway, I began directing.  My work as an actor afforded me the opportunity to work with some very well known directors including Bob Fosse, Harold Prince and Albert Marre

Since making the transition to directing I’ve added nearly sixty productions to my director resume. Those productions include: The Most Happy Fella (starring Sprio Malas) Fiddler on the Roof (starring Eddie Mekka) Chicago, Gypsy (starring Joyce DeWitt), Man of La Mancha, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, South Pacific, The Fantasticks, Carousel, Oklahoma, Stand By Your Man, Miss Saigon, Aida, A Wonderful Life and Peter Pan. My most recent credits include The Producers and West Side Story.

I've also directed a number of plays among them are The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Driving Miss Daisy, Lend Me A Tenor,

The Man Who Came to Dinner, You Can’t Take it with You, Same Time Next Year, After-Play (Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia) A Christmas Carol (The John Jakes version), The Graduate, Sheer Madness and Miracle on 34th Street. Most recently, Other People’s Money at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, NY

Since 2003, I’ve served as Associate Artistic Director for the West Virginia Public Theatre in Morgantown West Virginia. WVPT is an Equity summer stock theater, which produces six shows in seven weeks. I am responsible for casting and the search for artistic staff.
